System recommendations and storage capacity to install this new product are as follows:

Windows 8 1 GB

It is recommended that you have at least 800MB of free HD space

As part of the installation process, it is CRITICAL that you first uninstall any other Internet security software that you have on your computer.

As with any Internet security software, if you do not uninstall other Internet security software before installing CenturyLink™ Online Security, your computer can be damaged. Running two Internet security programs at the same time can also cause system instability, slow performance, and may prevent you from connecting to the Internet.

How to uninstall:
In Windows XP, click Start.
  1. Click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select the program and click Remove.
In Windows Vista, click the Start button.
  1. Click Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs.
  3. Click Programs and Features.
  4. Select the program and click uninstall.
In Windows 7, click the Start button.
  1. Select Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Select the program and click uninstall.

After your current Internet security software has been uninstalled, you may install CenturyLink™ Online Security.
To install CenturyLink™ Online Security, start your Installation Wizard, and follow the the on-screen instructions to install the software. The installation wizard guides you through the process step-by-step. Depending on the speed of your computer, the installation may take some time. During the installation, you will need your subscription number. The subscription number is in this format
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and consists of letters and numbers.
